should i upload my files on .zip or .rar format?

Hello, this is finn, Rescently i got a comment from a user asking me to put a .zip format for the assets i was selling and at first i didn't know there was a difference between a rar and a zip file. but apparently there is.
What format do you think i should upload my files and why?and should i convert all my .rar files to .zip?
